Scared Peace, Sacred Healing

Dear Friends: Today, I am thinking about all the wonderful knowledge that comes from God and the messages of Wholeness and Healing which this entails. I am asking myself: what are the keys to understanding that will bring me Peace, not only within myself but also in my experiences of the external world?

The Holy Spirit has revealed to me that I am my own source for all the things which I experience in my life. My mind is powerful and the thoughts I create result in whatever it is that I am experiencing. This indeed, is an important message, because it allows all who hear this Truth, to adjust their lives, knowing how all experience originates. Especially, taking note of the fact that the universe is a machine designed by God to provide whatever it is that I am thinking. I do not have to know how the machine works, I only need to know that it does work, that it responds to my thoughts as commands, and that whatever I think, so shall it be. Jesus said, "as ye sow, so shall ye reap." This is what Jesus was referring to. The most effective fact about this is, each of us is in control of our own experiences when we use the universe purposefully rather than purposelessly. In a world which appears in a tailspin, taking us along for an uncontrolled ride, it is refreshing news to know and understand, we can change what we are experiencing, which power resides within ourselves. Remaining calm within the storm, is the gift that God gives us in dealing with turmoil.

God's Voice is a quiet Voice, not a loud and booming voice. In order for a person to hear God's Voice, then, it is apparent that one must practice as much quiet as possible within the Self. Stilling the turmoil, the busy-ness of the mind, which is ever wanting to do something, requires discipline. A wonderful way to begin doing this, is to find a Sacred Space, in which one's mind may join with the Mind of God. I have often found, that finding an external world space to do this helps enable me to quiet myself. A Sacred Space is any place where the body and mind can align within to create Peace. A Sacred Space can be within one's internal self alone, but it also helps to find a Sacred Place externally. The Sacred Place can be wherever one finds the external world to be at it's quietest...which often, appears difficult to do. This may also ask of one's Self to find a time when that space is quietest. The Sacred Place is any place which allows one to feel safe, secure, whole and complete. The Sacred Place may consist of anything external to the Self which provides for safety, security, wholeness and completeness. Perhaps, wearing certain clothing, having physical objects in your possession or near you which aide or have special meaning, such as lit candles, a warm blanket or prayer beads; whatever gives you comfort and reduces stress, is ok. God wants you to be still and quiet, so that God's gentle voice can be heard. Remember, physical objects only act as an aide, and have no other particular meaning or function other than to reduce stress and increase connectivity.

The practiced person can do this at any time or place, regardless of what appears to be happening around them or external to the Self. With practice, stillness is attained more and more easily. This is because you know your Self is always in control and is free of all external power and control mechanisms. Freeing the Self to be in control and realizing that one is always in control of Self, allows one to change the external experience so that the external is changed to freeing rather than controlling.

Here are some of the things which I have found bring me into alignment with stillness and being quiet:

*The focus is on LOVE.

*The primary purpose is to hear God's Voice, Still Small Voice or the Holy Spirit {One and the same}.

*The secondary purpose is to heal FEAR and to rectify my mind to the Mind of God.

*There is nothing I have to do. And the only thing(s) I do are those things I desire to do.

*Free will is always at the center of relationship, nothing is forced. I do this for myself.
*I am One, whole, complete and perfect in my relationship with God.

*The only moment which exists is right NOW (all problems belong to another moment)

*Clear the mind of noise and the mind's attempt to take center stage of the process.

*Release stress, tension, anxiety; but remain, AWARE. Awareness is NOT sleeping.

*Nothing external to me is in control of me. Discipline of my mind is what allows for peace.
*Release all thoughts which are negative, destructive of self or others. Give all such thoughts up to God.

*Peace and Rest are the result of my knowing that I am in complete control of myself at all times, and that I release all thoughts of possession, judgment, condemnation, restriction and expectation. I am not bound by external thoughts, forms, ideas, or restrictions which appear to be doing things to me, for they are but an illusion. I bless and yield them to God.

* It is not my place to be in anyone else's space.

* Let go, be whole and be in One's own self control. Then release even self control to God.
* Put God in command, so that Will is One and Complete.

Practice:

Doing is an act. What happens in the mind as thought is a form of doing. Jesus said that even when you have thought something it is the same thing as having done it. So thought counts!Whatever is thought is enacted. Therefore, thought is something that is real, not imaginary.

Practice seeing all others as Self, for there is only One, in highest truth.

Whatever you do to another, you do it to yourself. Therefore, do unto others as you would have done unto you (for you are them and they are you).

Be the change you wish to see in the world (Gandhi). Only by changing your self can you hope to see the change in the world you are wishing for. Even though you are whole and complete within yourself, requiring nothing...if you are desiring to see something else, then make yourself the change you wish to experience.

Whenever an external problem presents itself to you, ask yourself this one question: "Where did this originate within me?" Then, take that thought and bless it with your love. Give love as your response to every situation you are encountered with. Release judgment and condemnation, heal it with forgiveness, and allow it to pass by you. Love is what God is up to at all times and in all instances. Ask: "What would God do now?" In healing all others you heal yourself.

Release to God all thoughts of incompleteness, separateness and unwholeness. Imagine these things as if they were objects and you literally hand them over and put them all into God's powerful and limitless hands. God has all the answers right there inside of yourself to give you the healing you desire.

Nothing which is not real can actually affect me. If I am affected, it is because I have allowed it to affect me. I have given it the power over me that I have allowed. Therefore, in order to be truly free, I must see all things which have affected me to be exactly the things I have allowed. In order to free myself, I must withdraw the power back to myself again by concentrating on control of Self and being aware in each moment, what I have given power to.

Every experience in my life is the result of my decision to allow it, at some level of myself. If I do not consciously know where it comes from, then I ask God to reveal to me where it is at, and therefore, to heal it. I am working each moment of my life to see Peace within myself and whatever I believe I am experiencing in the world external to myself. Ultimately, I will establish perfect Peace by first establishing it within myself. Peace means, being in total command of my own self at all times and being aware of all things within myself, including how I react to anything either internally or externally.

Only the practice of LOVE achieves the results which I desire for myself. If I find myself being other than LOVE, I reign in myself and find ways to heal all and any non-loving thoughts or actions. This means, letting go of all thoughts of victimization, when I know I am the source of all of it and am therefore, no victim. Releasing and not holding onto, judgment or condemnation, which I know, in no instance, serves myself or says about ME, who and what I am. Observe, yet do not judge. For I am not in possession of all the knowledge that God is, of why something is so. Therefore, I do not have to agree with what I see as fault, I just let it pass by me as if I have seen nothing at all. Every thought of fault, error, wrongness, is a product of a misunderstanding of The Truth and it is the misunderstanding that needs to be healed by righting my mind. I simply can do this by saying to myself "Nothing is wrong."

Validating the Sacred Self

Honoring the Sacred Self

[Picture entitled, “Dawn Dark Mountain Sacred Sisters,” borrowed from the site Dawn Dark Mountain and First People], http://www.firstpeople.us/

Dear Friends: Today, the Holy Spirit wishes to send you God's eternal blessings, in knowing that you are whole, complete and perfect. Your true state of being is safe and secure, residing in the Mind of God. The Holy Spirit is asking me today, to discuss your Sacred Self so that you will come into alignment with the Voice of God which is the Holy Spirit, in re-minding you of your true state of being.

Your Sacred Self, is you within, which Jesus has taught you, is the House of God, for the Son and the Father enter and reside therein with you. The Presence within you is your Sacred Self or Sacred Beingness. This is God's Union with you as One. It is an illumination. This is a Presence rather than a place. So you could view yourself to be a Presence and what is within as Presence. This is the Presence where you have always been but have forgotten. You have listened to God's Voice but did not know it, having forgotten it in your memory of just who and what it is that you truly and really are. The person that you are is, in God's eyes, whole, complete, perfect and without fault. And God wishes to say to you with this message, dear reader...the ones who read this now, this message is sent to each and every one:

“YOU, dearly beloved child, are IN my Plan, not outside of it. This Plan of Mine includes every child I have ever created and NONE have been, are or ever will be, excluded from it. Therefore, you cannot fail, no matter how you try. You cannot “fall short” of Me because I Am all that there Is. Falling short implies there is a distance between You and Me. Yet when you realize that we are One, there is no distance between us. Therefore, there is no falling short of Me. You have always been right here where I Am and have only been “gone” from here, in your mind. My intention is to bring you back to your right mind so that you remember your true, absolute and perfect relationship with Me, discarding all false concepts which alienate you from My Presence. I Am the unavoidable. I Am the Eternal. I Am the Inevitable. Have no fear, you cannot fail to find Me. I have always been right here with you, yet you did not know it. Did not My Son say to you, 'I will never leave you?' That means, He has never been gone and therefore, need never return. There is no "here" and "there." The concepts of “here” and “there” are what mislead you. I cannot go where there is not. I can only Be where I Am and since there is only Now, I can only be Here. What you have thought was ordinary, is in fact, extraordinary. My Message, which I send to you continuously and neverendling, are ALL WAYS the same: One and Unified, Whole and Complete, Consistent and Perfect, Healing. My messages never change and are Absolute Truth.

But today, I wish you to understand and affirm your rightful place with Me. This place is with Me at My Right Hand. Every child is special, yet no child is more special than another. All, are equally special to Me. I have not created some better than others, for why would I endow each with My abilities, My capabilities, My creative Being, My Perfection and WITH My Love...yet deny these attributes to some in favor of others? Isn't that a contradiction?

I Am not a contradictory God! Contradictions always reside within misconceptions and misunderstandings of My Truth. All contradictions and misconceptions are the product of a mind which has forgotten My Truth and requires re-minding. Re-minding is the process of healing, so that the mind is rectified and made whole, complete and in perfect alignment with My Truth.

So when you see contradiction between what you feel and know about yourself, and what has been said about Me by the Other, then know, there exists a problem that requires healing. It is NEVER you that requires the healing (that is always the fundamental assertion of the Other), it is the misconception itself, the faulty idea, which needs to be healed (for you are Whole and Perfect and require no correction, which is always My message to you). In order to know what requires healing, you must become aware of what is happening. When you understand what is happening and you know your own powers which are My Powers, then you will be able to heal the misconception and right your mind to it's true state of perfection. The struggle is ALL WAYS about you returning to your true and perfect state of Mind in the face of The Illusion (the Other) which works constantly to alienate you from Me. Our purpose, together, is to heal the affliction of separation thinking so that Father and Son are restored in Mind as Unified, One, Whole and Complete Being. This means, we must examine together what is happening in order that it be healed, for even though you are Me in the relative world, I, in My Absolute State, have all the power to heal that is necessary.

In understanding that the Other is not real, it becomes of no concern, ultimately, as each Child is returned to the fully rectified Mind of God. When your mind has been healed completely, the Other ceases to exist. I call, "the Other," the external world and all of it's apparent complexities, delusions, illusions, reasonings, logic and explanations. Even though the external world to the self is not real, I can use what is not real in order to get My Truth across to you. Even what is not real can become a vehicle for My Voice. When you have begun to rectify your mind, you will begin to discern what comes from Me and what comes from Other. As WE work together, My Voice and My Truth, which always speaks of your Oneness, Wholeness, Completeness and Perfection and which always carries and contains within it, Truth, Joy and Love, you will be able to discern which messages come from Me more clearly.

As you move forward in healing, the Other will become louder and louder, trying to drown out My Voice, in it's frantic attempt to survive, and so you must be careful to listen and discern. The louder the external world, the quieter My Voice becomes. This is the reason why the external world is always so LOUD and full of NOISE and CONFUSION. These are all survival mechanisms of the Other. Yet, take note, the Other cannot sustain what it creates. It cannot maintain consistency. First it is this and then it is that. But My Voice ALL WAYS carries a consistent, sustained message to you.

As has been said, your true Sacred Self is within you and this means, literally, that the external world to the Self is an illusion...it is literally, only made real by your mind's willingness to give it the power to be real. Because your mind has so strongly attached itself to the external world as a validation of the internal world that Is you, you have forgotten how to validate your Sacred Self within. If you knew your true state of wholeness, you would be able to validate your Sacred Being and not rely on any feedback from the external world of illusion which, in fact, invalidates you every chance it gets.

In Absolute Truth, you need nor require no validation from any external source, the Wholeness, Completeness and Oneness of the Sacred Self.

Because your mind is powerful, and you have been given full creative abilities by God, you can create a very strong illusion-reality for yourself. The universe is designed to provide for and amplify every thought you generate. Just think of the universe as a black box, a machine with components and processes, endowed by God with extraordinary and unimaginable capabilities, to produce exactly the outcomes you have intended. So powerful is your ability to create, that you have forgotten how to distinguish between the reality that is You and the external illusion of the world you think you observe and are a part of, which is the product of your unhealed mind. The moment you let go of the external world and release it back to God, is the moment you regain your right senses. The illusion resolves itself back to an illusion and you regain your true knowing of who and what you are. The process of doing this is called, re-membering...literally meaning, to be re-membered with God. You did not know it, but you have always been in the process of some stage of re-membering. Only now, you have decided to re-mind [which literally means, to make up your mind again or to renew your mind] yourself again of what you have been doing all along. You would not be reading this now, if you had not wanted to re-mind yourself of what you have been, in fact, up to. From time to time, thoroughout the course of your spiritual evolution, you have wanted to be re-minded and reassured. Those who do not know this or will not accept this, do not yet wish to remind themselves now. Yet every son or daughter of God can and does, remind themselves, sooner or later. When the spirit is willing, the mind will be restored. Notice, this re-minding is accomplished with your free will, for it is your choice to be here now.

Nothing which God does is by force. So everything you think that happens to you by force is done by the Other with your permission. Notice, I have said, "with your permission." This means, nothing can really happen to you unless you choose it. And even when you have thought something has happened, nothing has really happened. This is because an illusion has no real power. Discovering this fact is what the Other fears more than any other...that it's power amounts to nothing.

In order to know what is going on, first know you have placed your faith in the external world, as a validation of the Self. This means, you have been looking out there for all the answers to what has ALL WAYS been contained within you [yes, you already have all the answers because you are already complete]. You have been looking at something else which is the illusion you created and using the illusion to define the Self and validate the Self, which in Truth, needs no validation or definition. What Is simply Is.

The message that the Other, which is the external world to the Self, will always be, is one of fear. It will always come from the standpoint of something which is less than what Is, which is perfection. It will always contain within it, messages of fear which says that you are not whole, complete or perfect. It will always contain messages of separation which are intended to alienate you from God. This message tells you that you must be doing something it says you must do, in order to be whole, complete and perfect, for it (the Other) always wants to be in control of you and to make you subordinate to it's willful fear. It always wants you to be doing something in order to keep you busy and unaware of what is really happening to you.

You need do nothing, ever. You do not have to do anything because you are already, whole, complete and perfect. That which is perfect need do no thing, for it already Is what perfection Is. Remember: It is not YOU that needs to be healed, it is the idea of separation and incompleteness that needs healing. When the idea is healed, you return to your rightened state.

Jesus spoke of the wolf disguised in sheep's clothing. The Other IS the wolf cloaked, saying it is a sheep. Once something is created by the mind and given reinforcement, the universe delivers the experience created and the substance of it appears real. So real, in fact, that you have fooled yourself into believing it is your reality. When anything that is created takes on this much power, it (the Other) assumes an apparent life of its own. It takes on a semblance of life, and in emulating Life (which is God), it (the Other) does not want to die. Just be aware that the Other, however powerful it may seem, is an emulation...it is not life itself, it is a mirage. The moment the Other is healed, it vanishes and ceases to exist. This is why it struggles so hard to be in control of your thoughts about who and what you are. It does not want to vanish and cease to exist. It is groping, grasping and clutching at you, in every moment, and fearful of it's ultimate destiny which it knows, is that it will cease to exist. It must and will cease to exist, because God's Plan is the entire return to God of all of God's creation. The only thing which is not included in God's Plan is the continued existence of the Other. God does not include the Other in the Plan, for that which is not real cannot be made real and therefore, is of no ultimate consequence.
The wolf is the illusion that Other is real. Other does not want to die. It wants to survive as if it were alive and were real. It works ceaselessly to make you believe it is real.

The only mechanism which the Other knows is fear, a kind of knee-jerk reaction to the fear of death, which it dreads. And so, the Other feeds back to you, ideas which keep it alive. It's message will always be that you are separate from God (this is the intent: to keep you separate always so that the Other may continue to survive). The Other will tell you to “fear God.” Teaching fear, is always the message of the Other. The wolf is a strong force which even cloaks itself with elements of truth so as to keep you off balance. It will teach you elements of truth, just enough, to keep you from discovering who and what the Other really is doing. Notice that the Other teaches elements of truth, but never practices it. The Other never practices the Truth. It takes the Truth and warps, bends and distorts it. This is why it speaks about Love but never practices it. It cannot practice what it is not. This is the message that tells you that you are loved by God, but that you will be judged by God. Love never judges. See the truth in this. This is the message that says you will always fall short of God. Love never creates distance.

This is the message that says you are a sinner and that sin is inherent in you. Love never creates difference. This is the message that says, you will be condemned to a hell and be a victim of the devil. Love never teaches condemnation. See the difference. Look and observe and SEE what has been happening. Look at Love and ask yourself, is this idea, the product of Love or of Fear? Does this idea create LOVE in me or FEAR in me, as a response? Whatever creates FEAR, you will then know, comes from Other. Whatever creates LOVE, comes from God. What do your feelings and truest knowing say to you? If you are feeling fearful, anxious, less than worthy, scared...then you know that the message is being delivered to you by the wolf, the one who hides in sheep's clothing. The Other (who is the wolf), is sly and apparently loving, but only interested in its own survival and always at your expense. It will always tell you, that it has the answer for you, all you need do is surrender to it (and thus allow it to appear to sustain power and control over your mind).

When in fact, your Father in Heaven, has already anointed you with all the answers which are within you which means, you need no other for any reason. Notice, that the Other has never given you perfect validation of yourself. It will never willingly or unwillingly validate your perfection, no matter what you do to attempt to appease it. The wolf cannot be appeased! In it's eye, you will always fall short of it's expectations. You can, according to the Other, never attain being good enough. And this is exactly what causes your anxiety and disappointment. You already know you are worthy, complete and whole, on some level of your being and you cannot really accept the invalidation of the Other. You can remove the anxiety, and disappointment in yourself, by looking within and finding God there, who validates your perfection. You need do nothing other than remember. Life, with God, is not a game of seek and find, it is a perfection of the perfect knowing of who and what you are."

God's Lessons In Oneness Online

Connecting with God

[Picture used with kind permission of the artist, Mr. Lawrence Klimecki, entitled "Saint Gabriel, Archangel," ] http://www.gryphonrampant.com/SG2436.html

Dear Friends: Today, I wish to communicate further with you about connecting to even more resources that are available for you. I have mentioned in prior blog postings, that God uses all methods of communication with you. These methods can be your experiences in life, the words you hear inside of you as I have described (in my viewpoint), The Still Small Voice (the Holy Spirit), through Holy Scriptures such as The Bible (and other sacred works), and yes, even through music (see my postings on Blogspot, reference to Peter Cetera's song entitiled One Clear Voice), through a movie you might see, through the innocent comments of your own young children, and even in your imagination (for what is to keep God from using your imagination as a form of communication to you?). Any way or method you can think of that communicates, even certain advertisements (yes, not just billboards), but think of the books, magazines, pamphlets and notices that you receive constantly. If you are aware of the process that God NEVER stops speaking to you, then you look, see, hear and begin to wonder and think about things with a little bit more awareness. I am going to speak on yet another blog about the process of awareness and the use of imagination (image creation). But for now, I wish to bring one such form of external communication to you. A person who hears the Still Small Voice within them, becomes what is called, a "Channeler," especially if that communication is shared with the external world of "others." We must keep our eyes open to all possibilities, includng the possibility that God can create a form of communication on the internet. Mine, is just one tiny version; there are many others.

A group of God Channelers can get together to construct a site where the communication and instruction from God can be written into "lessons." The wonderful news is that this has happened. This is yet another resource for you to investigate and find out about. I have been visiting this site now, for at least the last few years. I have seen it evolve slowly from a handful of "lessons" to what now is a large body of "lessons." The lessons themselves, are evolving and changing as more and more information is being added and instruction is being expanded and clarified. It is a "work in progress." The Channelers who are doing this work of channeling God's instructions remain almost anonymous, almost faceless...because the work itself is what is the focus and not the individuals channeling the work.

Jesus says, test what you hear, and if it is within your knowing of what is true, then you know it is the Truth. If the messages being given are from the "One who sent Me," then you know. What sits right in yourself is what your truth is about something. In general, I would say for me, that when a communication is coming from God, it entails one of three elements (I might describe this as the Trinity of Truth). The message always contains within it, TRUTH, LOVE, JOY. These are the three elements of all of God's communications. Every last communication that originates from our Creator contains one, two or all three of these elements. So I am saying to you, TEST what you read against the truth inside of you and if the message contained in the communication meets your highest and deepest feeling of truth, then you need no one else to tell you, Who it is that that communication is coming from. I also have had to ask myself, what motive, if any, is there? Does that motive contain Truth, Joy or Love? Is the message given, contain, is framed in, empowerment? Does the communication honor you, the self who is part of God? Put the messages to the test and see if the messages contain the elements you know are Truth. For Truth is always THE Truth.

The site I am speaking of is called GodChannel. You are going to learn more about God here than you had ever imagined. You are also going to learn more about yourself than you had ever imagined possible. For, this is truly, an amazing resource. It is one of the many paths God has established in our world today, to investigate and discover. The URL to this site is:

After reading the small introduction, you may wish to click on "Site Navigator," which will take you to the list of lessons. Or, you may wish to click on any of numerous and what seems, labyrinthian links which discuss God's purposes and reasons for establishing this site. Any way you look at it, you are going to come back, time and again, as the information presented to you begins to sink in.

I have a little story behind the discovery of this site on the internet that I would like to share with you.

One day, I decided to go to Google Search and enter the single search term "God." To my amazement, over 64 million references were listed. Today, April 12, 2008, just a few years later, the number of references on Google to just the term "God" are 487,000,000 references. This is a huge lexicon of information.

Anyway, I wanted to see if I could find some sites on the internet about God that rang true inside of me (contained, Truth, Love, Joy), or just sat right with me. I started clicking on the first URL's (obviously, these are the ones with the highest page ranking). I found nothing in them that met with my inner guide (The Holy Spirit IN me). I kept clicking on successive pages of URL's, and nothing! I became disenchanted. I asked myself, "How can so many sites which have such a high page rank contain nothing that rings true within me?." How could I be missing what I am looking for. At the time, out of 64 million references, at least some of them should contain what I am looking for, right? But who has the time to spend clicking on literally 64,000,000 references?

Suddenly, I had the notion (which I attribute to the Holy Spirit guiding me), to click on "LAST." This means that I literally was going to go to the 64 millionth reference, the very END of all the references, and then begin working backwards. I remembered something that God had once said to me, that sometimes, in order to solve a problem, you have to start by reversing the problem...if it cannot be solved going forward, then start at the end and go backward). So, in remembering what God had told me, and following the urging of the Holy Spirit, I went to the end and starting working backwards. After clicking URL's for about the first three pages, I found GodChannel!

Now, I have to ask myself, how is it, that with (at the time) 64 million references to God on Google, that a site like this could be nearly at the END of the entire search? Does it mean that God does not pay for advertising to increase page rank? Or does it mean, as it meant to me, that one must truely be searching for the answers in order to get the answers?

I have often found this to be the case in book stores. Going to the spiritual section, I make sure I look at the small books crammed behind the bigger, fatter ones...and not always, but often enough, I find that the most important works in my life are the one's that are LEAST OBVIOUS! They are the little books hidden almost out of sight. And here, was exactly what I was looking for but it was hidden - 64 million references from where I started. I think the message is, if you really want the information, God is going to put you through the search. The closest thing I can come to in all of this, is like when you misplace your keys at home. You literally pull your hair out in frustration looking for those keys. Then, once you have calmed down enough to come to your senses, you see them sitting right there on the coffee table in the living room where you had put them last night. You could swear you had looked there a million times, right at the table! Yet you did not see the keys there until the millionth and one time.

The message that comes to me from these experiences is just this...God is obviously NOT obviously obvious. God is staring you right in the face and you don't even see God. Oh well, this leads to more insights on being aware of the world, which is not my intention for today. Go back now, and click on that site and take a look and see for yourself what you think. PS - Everything on the site is FREE. Have a wonderful day dear friends, a God filled and joyous day :) Peace & Love!

The Holy Spirit's Interpretation of the New Testament

Dear Friends: I have had a long time friend, Regina Dawn Akers, who has channeled the Holy Spirit in interpreting the meaning of the entire New Testament. This is a monumental work of effort on behalf of the Spirit of God. I have purchased a copy of this work, just newly published and am studying it. What I am finding is that you can read this interpretation side-by-side with the standard Bible and reveal the depth of what is being said.

In Yahoo! Answers, in the Religion and Spirituality section, I am finding so many questions from Christians asking, "What is the Holy Spirit?" Religion, in general, does a poor job of trying to explain Who and What the Holy Spirit is. Beacause it used to be called the "Holy Ghost," it has come to have an etheral quality, almost a frightening character attached, to such a power force, which is not the way it should be. The power and force of the Holy Spirit is the power and force of Love. This is God's absolute, eternal and never ending Being. Many Christians think of the Holy Spirit as being one of the three entities or instances of the Holy Trinity, but when it comes down to describing exactly Who and What the Holy Spirit is, most Christians seem to be left completely in the dark...stumbling for understanding, and left without a clear understanding.

I have responded to these questions, most often, by describing the Holy Spirit as God's Force or God's Power of Love, for one must understand, that this force or power, is unlike the brutal power or force of earthly institutions...it is rather, your connection, the Still Small Voice within YOU, God's Voice IN you. Because most Christians have been taught to deny their Oneness with God, and to believe in the false doctrine of separation, they have been rendered deaf to the Voice of God Within, which is the Holy Spirit, the Voice of God! This is why so many are not understanding. Jesus said that you must remove the MOTE in your own eye before you can see. The mote Jesus was referring to was the MOTE of the doctrine of separation. This is the instruction of your teachers that has mislead you into believing you are not one with God. God challenges their earthly authority and defies it with Truth.

God is already in the process of eliminating separation, by reducing this barrier in bringing to all of us a renewed sense of our connectedness. That is the entire message of all of my writings. I am affirming to all of you, your oneness with God, tearing down the walls of separation thinking and belief, so as to clear the way for God's Voice in you, removing the MOTE in your mind so that you can hear clearly. God's effort is working through many voices, not just mine, but through thousands and perhaps, millions. This work I am doing is but one form of external communication intended to open the blockages instilled in you which inhibit you from establishing your true knowing and rememberance of your relationship with God. I cannot but tell you that you are whole and complete, the rest is up to you and God. I surrender everything to God at this point, for all glory and power is the Lord's. I am doing what I can as one person, to be a servant to God. Jesus once described what position one must take in being a true servant. He said in so many words, if you wish to be at the front of the table, you must be willing to be the last. Therefore, I strive to be the LAST and not the first. This means, knowing for a certainty where your responsibilities lie in being a servant. All power and glory to God!

I would like to invite all of you who visit my blogs, to become aquainted with Regina's work, which is the work of the Holy Spirit. I am finding it to be a vastly critical work. I was on a Yahoo discussion group hosted by Regina for about 3 years while this work was being developed, one installment at a time.

Here are some important links to this work and to Regina:

Her Yahoo! 360 site:

http://360.yahoo.com/profile-m2wd8HcjfqEkbvF7XNJdnB16TPSszNI-?cq=1

She also has an extensive internet site well worth investigating:

I was going (and may still) write a blog entry for the Holy Spirit, but as I was investigating the Holy Spirit on the net, I ran across this wonderful explanation of Who and What the Holy Spirit is. I couldn't possibly improve upon it, and feel like it would be a redundancy after reading this important description. So instead of my just being a parrot, you can go here and read this for yourself. I highly encourage anyone who wants to know Who and What the Holy Spirit is, to go here and read it:

Thank you dear friends, for reading this and I hope that you will leave today with a renewed sense of Who you are and Who and What the Holy Spirit is.

One Clear Voice

God works through all forms of media to reach you. All forms of communication are open, but mostly, through your experiences in life...these speak loudest to you.

God is urging everyone to listen to His/Her voice which speaks from within each person. The mistake has been to look for God "out there" instead of within one's self.

A song, written several years ago, by the singer and music composer, Peter Cetera, speaks of the Still Small Voice within. The words are so clear, there is no mistake about Who this song is referring to. This is the Still Small Voice of God. It is, the voice of the Holy Spirit. I wish to share the lyrics of this song because, if you hear it, you too, will know how genuine this song is and who is speaking to you, through it:

Peter Cetera - One Clear Voice

Whole world is talking
Drowning out my voice
How can I hear myself
With all this noise
But all this confusion
Just disappears
When I find a quiet place
Where I can hear
[One Clear Voice]
(chorus)
One clear voice
Calling out for me to listen
One clear voice
Whispers words of wisdom
I close my eyes
'Till I find what I've been missing
If I'm very still, I will hear One clear voice
I'm always searching
For which path to take
Sometimes I'm so afraid
To make mistakes
Somewhere inside me
Stronger than my fears
Just like the sound of music
To my ears, I hear [One clear voice]

For Ever, Amen.

“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment.” Henry David Thoreau

Isaiah 57:

15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

John 17:

3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

2 Corinthians 4:

17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Luke 10:

25And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

26He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

27And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

28And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

The Lord's Prayer - Part XI

And the Glory

[Picture entitled "The Glory of God," by Joseph Rubino, borrowed from his site on picturetrail.com]

Exodus 24:

17 And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

For the Glory of God has been described in many terms, as a pillar of fire, as fire on Mt.Horeb [Mt.Sinai], as a brilliant light as in the temple and as a brilliance around those who were doing service to the Lord.

Psalm 24:

10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

There is no other but the One God and all Glory is His.

Isaiah 6:

3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

God's Glory is a product of God's Holiness.

Luke 2:

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

It is God's Glory to share it with us in peace and good will.

John 1:

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus is the Son, inheritor of God's Glory.

John 7:

17If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

18He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

Those who testify the truth, that the doctrine of separation is NOT of God, but a product of the of the ignorance of man, and stand straight and tall for the truth: the Oneness and Unity of God within Us, Inseparable and Eternal, yield all Glory to the Rightful One, the Owner and Inheritor. The doctrine of separation is the doctrine of darkness which is banished by the Glory of the Light of the Eternal One.

Hebrews 1:
2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

4Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

And to them who do not yet see the truth nor acknowledge it, is yet extended the Glory to:

1 Peter 1:
7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

For if you had known who you were all along, and who the Son was:

1 Corinthians 2:

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

And finally:

John 17:

23I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

24Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

25O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

Look at what it says: "I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in One." This, then, is the meaning of Glory. The Glory of the truth of the Oneness, of God in the Son who is IN Us. The knowledge of this is the Power of God and the Lord's Prayer is the manifested statement of this truth. The very nature of Glory, which is the Light, banishes all darkness, which is the ignorance of who and what we are, and returns us to our right mind. That right mind is our sure knowing, we are not and never have been, separate from God.

And the Power

[Picture used with kind permission of the artist, Mr. Lawrence Klimecki, entitled "Saint Raphael Archangel,"

http://www.gryphonrampant.com/SR2436.html ]

Dear Friends: Today, it is our sacred honor to meditate upon God's Power. Certainly, God's Power is life itself, as expressed in all forms and all formlessness, in abstraction as in material realism. In searching scripture, consistently throughout the Bible, God's Power and the Kingdom are tightly interwoven subjects. In searching for the right words to describe it, I came upon this in the Old Testament, and in these words, I realized, Jesus himself must have had this very quote in mind when he taught The Lord's Prayer. I think you will see elements in this which leave no doubt about what Jesus had in mind when formulating the words of His prayer:

1 Chronicles 29:

11Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

Psalm 145: 11They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

And, of power, we see that love is raised above fear, for God is love! Though you have been taught by men to fear God, here is the statement which says that Love is far greater. I believe that Jesus' message is that love is far more important, and wherever possible, and in all instances, it should be said "Love the Lord thy God":

2 Timothy 1:

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Yesterday, we investigated The Kingdom as the first statement of this line, yet we find the two subjects interwoven, Kingdom and Power, yet are these two statements in seeming contradiction until one meditates upon them for a while:

Luke 4:

32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
1 Corinthians 4:

20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

So it is made manifestly apparent that the Kingdom of God is in God's Power and that the word of God is moved by God's Power. Thus, God's Power into the Kingdom which moves the word. Yet, one must be clear that the word itself is powerful for:

Psalm 29:

4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

Hebrews 4:

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

And finally, who that power has been given to:

Luke 4:

32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
Matthew 28:

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

So, today, dear friends, relax and sit back. Close your eyes and center your thoughts and allow the Word to enter the Kingdom Within You by the Power of God. For you are One with God, Whole and Inseparable. Jesus has told you, that the Kingdom of God is within you and there shall you look for your Source of all power. The power of your connectedness, which will never be denied you, the source of your Love which is the basis of all relationship with God who IS Love. God has been and is waiting for you to wake up and accept your true relationship, to remember who and what you are. The Lord's Prayer is Power, made manifest in your participation. So use it and find God in you, just as the Master has said.

The Lord's Prayer - Part IX

For Thine is the Kingdom

Mark 4:

30And he said, Where unto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?

31It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:

32But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

Luke 17:

20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Dear Friends: The Kingdom of God is Within YOU! That means it is within All of US. Even in those who have not accepted the Unity of the One, though they be unaware, still they carry within them the latent Kingdom. The seed is the word and when it is planted in good soil, it germinates and grows into a powerful new YOU...for the Kingdom within has now been awoken. A person who carries the Kingdom within yet does not know it, is as if they were dead, for they are not open to the spirit filled light of the Eternal One within themselves.

The awakening of the Kingdom of God within you is the awakening to the knowledge, the power and the absolute certainty, that you are One With God. It is acknowledgement of your sacred Self and your divine nature, God, One and Inseparable, In You. For all things that are false shall wither away and be forgotten, even as your awareness of who and what you are grows until your memory returns to you and your true relationship is rectified. It shall be as if the false doctrine of separation never existed. For a return of your memory to your own glorious self, is the awakening of the Kingdom of God within you, your true and rightful nature, and the true and absolute perfection of your relationship with God Almighty. Therefore, as Jesus said, do not be looking out there somewhere else for the Kingdom. Be looking within yourself. For thine is the Kingdom, can mean for YOURS is the Kingdom, as in YOU, yourself. When you suddenly and finally realize that you have been carrying the Kingdom all along within you, the seed will have been planted that grows into a mighty tree within you and fills you with the knowledge and understanding of just who you have been all along.

The Lord's Prayer - Part VIII

But Deliver Us from Evil

[picture entitled "Deliverance II" borrowed from the site: reaperslair.de]

2 Timothy 4:

18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Joel 2:

32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Psalm 32:

7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

Dear Friends: The action verb is "deliverance" and the object is "evil." It seems quite apparent what this means, but necessitates an enquiring mind rather than a judgmental mind in order to understand all the implications. We often think that evil is what others do to us rather than what we do to ourselves and so we assign it to another and blame that "other," for actions which are our own. We can only do this if we believe there is another to blame. Contained within this is the temptation to believe that we are separate and so can assign those things we deem negative to another. But having given up separation doctrine, we fully realize that no one or no other thing is doing anything to us. Unity, which is the truth about who we are leads us to examine ourselves and to reject concepts which lead us to believe anything is done unto us. When we do this, there is no other choice but to admit that we are responsible for all things which occur in our lives, even those things which we do not understand. The way out, is to be wise, observe what is happening, and understand why it is so. The first step of resolution is to accept whatever it is that is happening to us, then, to judge it not nor condemn the experience, and finally, to bless whatever it is that is happening and then send the experience on its way. This is the meaning of deliverance. We must deliver ourselves from our own creations.

This is the most difficult part to accept in life, for it is always easier to blame others than ourselves. In the end, we find, that even blaming ourselves, is not worthy of us. For blame entails judgment of ourselves, condemnation follows, and we loose context. In such times of trial, it is very difficult to see that it is we, ourselves, who are at cause. How is it, that I, bring upon myself, the conditions I am experiencing? This is the question we must ask ourselves if we are to understand why. Look back on all your doings. Think carefully about your thoughts, words and deeds and remember what seeds you have planted. Every seed you plant, germinates and produces the results of its intentions.

Do unto others as you would have done unto you is the key. If you understand that there is no other except yourself, then you can understand that what you do to others you do to yourself. For in the Unity of the One, there is only One OF Us. Having planted the seed intended for another, we plant it for ourselves. And therein contains the truth of where our least wanted experiences exist. Every seed we plant in life, we plant for ourselves. A true master always looks within the self to find all causes apparently external to the self. And if we look deeply enough within ourselves, we find the root cause. This is what Jesus meant when he said, "if thine eye offend thee, then pluck it out." Find within you, the root cause of all your apparent experiences, and remove from yourself those things which are causing you to experience in life, things which you least desire for yourself.

The Lord, who is US, One in Unity, creates all things and so it US who must be our own deliverance that we beseach. This by far, is the hardest and most ardently difficult truth to accept about who and what we are. The good news is, we have the control and we can change the way the ship is steered. Rather than disempowerment, the truth of Oneness empowers us, puts us in the drivers seat, and says to us: we can change the situation by thinking differently, by planting new seeds which make the difference. By changing what we think, say and do...knowing with full purpose and awareness it is WE who are at cause for ALL OF IT, the outcome is made manifest differently.

Thus, we no longer see God as being capricious and uncaring, unwilling to rectify all the wrongs we think we experience in our lives. Rather, we take charge of our own condition, our own decisions and our own doings and see the seed of all it in ourselves. If we wish to change our experience, it is ourselves that we must look to to do the deliverance. God is no longer "blamed" because we now understand the real source for all of our experiences, good or bad.

And lead us not into temptation (the temptation to plant the seeds of our future regretful experiences), but deliver us from evil (accept responsibility for our every thought, word and deed and change ourselves so that our present seed planted is good).

Matthew 13:

19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

21Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

The Lord's Prayer - Part VII

And Lead Us Not Into Temptation

Dear Friends: Today, we meditate upon the meanings of temptation. We all know the traditional meaning of this word and there is no doubt our lives are daily presented with opportunities which we know do not serve our higher calling. Common among these meanings is a constant source of battle between the ideal we are seeking to live as opposed to our self-judgments and the judgments of others of our self. Yet there are no burdens we can place upon ourselves that we cannot forgive, most of all, our self recriminations. The answer is to cease judgment and condemn not, either ourselves, or others. For every opportunity presented to us by our souls is once again, in that moment, a choice to decide who and what we will be.

1 Corinthians:

10 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

The "escape" is your ability to decide for yourself what you will be or not be, what you will do or not do. It is also, your grand opportunity not to judge, either yourself or others or any situation which you may find yourself in. Demonstrate to yourself, that you deserve to be and are, worthy of God's love at all times. It is God's love for you that allows you to escape. And if you cannot bear the circumstances, look to God for strength and find it knowing it will be given you.

Luke 22:

24And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.

25And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.

26But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

27For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

28Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

29And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

30That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

There are times in your life, when great things are happening, moment0us things that change the world, and you are a part of it. Just as the apostles were sitting at the last supper with Jesus, they were tempted to argue amongst themselves, who was the most important. In retrospect, it was the event of that supper and the following days leading to Jesus' crucifixion that was what was most important. They did not understand what Jesus was telling them, did not want to know it and fell into argument over trivialities. Tempation is not just traditional in meaning, it is also forgetfulness or unwillingness, which we are often doing in life. The temptation to forget who and what we truly are, a child of God, is easier, then undertaking the task of remembering and being willing to accept the full responsibilities of the fact of being One with God. And so, meditate upon the "other" meanings of what it is to be tempted.

The Lord's Prayer - Part VI

Forgive Us Our Trespasses as We Forgive Our Trespassers

[Borrowed from the paintings of Daniel F. Gerhartz, Forgiveness]

Matthew 6:

15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

As we forgive those who trespass against us, forgive us our trespasses. And who is that first that we must forgive? It is ourselves we must forgive first. Forgiveness, you see, is an act of Love. And just as the principle that says we must first have love for ourselves before we can give it to others, so must we have forgiveness of ourselves before we can give it to others. Therefore, forgiveness of ourselves first is requisite.

Today, meditate upon forgiving yourself, for everything you have ever thought or believed you have done in your lifetime which you find to be less than worthy of God who IS in you, One and inseparable, indivisible and unified. You are God expressed as the One in many and so it is within you, the power, to forgive yourself and to be forgiven. This is what Jesus meant when he said that you must forgive others in order to be forgiven: When you forgive others you are forgiving yourself. The false doctrine of separation would have you believe your brothers and sisters are different beings from you. But when you fully realize that there is no separation, forgiveness becomes universal. An act towards One is an act towards All.

This is the principle of the Unity of The One and Inseparable Being of God:

Do unto others as you would have done unto you

And here is the proof in Jesus' own words of this Universal Truth of Inseparable Oneness:
Matthew 25:

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Luke 7:

37And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,

38And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

39Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

40And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.

41There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.

42And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

43Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

44And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.

45Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.

46My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

47Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

48And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

49And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?

50And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Matthew 18:

21Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

22Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Use the word "forgiveness" to heal all thoughts and constructs of separation, for separation is believing God is not in you or that it is possible for God not to be in you. Breaking and removing separation from your mind is the greatest work you can undertake in order to heal yourself. God is working diligently through all God's messengers to eliminate separation doctrine, for separation doctrine is violence against the truth of Wholeness, Completeness and Oneness. Find your sacred space today, and be One with God, joyous in the knowledge that you, as having been a captive of ignorance, have been redeemed.

Luke 4:

18 ...he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives...

The Lord's Prayer - Part V

Give Us this day, Our Daily Bread

[Picture borrowed from the Marytown National Shrine of Saint Maximilian Kolbe, Adoration Chapel, The Living Bread]

Dear Friends: Today, it is your meditation, to consider what Jesus meant by "Our Daily Bread." It would seem that Jesus was merely referring to God providing us with physical sustinance. But it is clear, that the bread God provides has a much deeper and more profound meaning. This is, the Living Bread that God provides to our souls through the eternal and pure everlasting Voice that speaks within Us, the Holy Spirit.

Mathew 4:

4 But he [Jesus] answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
1 Kings 19:

12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a Still Small Voice.

John 6:

31Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

32Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

33For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

Notice in 33, Jesus said "For the bread of God is HE." So it is clear what Jesus has asked us to pray for, not merely substance to fill our stomachs, but rather, substance to fill our souls. I believe that we must LISTEN to the Still Small Voice within, for prayer should be followed by meditation and that means, clearing the mind of all the noise we put there. How can we hear the Voice of God if we are not clearing our minds and being receptive? Communication is a two way street, which means, we must stop speaking in order that we may hear. God cannot speak to us if we do not stop our speaking to God and we will not receive the Bread if we are not prepared by being Silent.

So now, find your sacred place and meditate upon the meaning of the Bread and then be silent and wait. Visualize, the connection you have with God and have faith that you are One with God and not separate.

The Lord's Prayer - Part IV

On Earth as In Heaven

[Pisture from: Star Fall (Sternenfall), 1995, Private Collection. The first survey of Anselm Kiefer's work in almost two decades, Anselm Kiefer: Heaven and Earth]

Dear Friends: Today, we shall meditate upon those things which are Earth as in Heaven. You aren't believing that God is IN you, yet you have been told that it is so! This means that you are being God. And, God is being you. What truth is there in the concept of separation when God is IN you? For didn't Jesus say, that when you keep his words, that God will come to reside in you? What has made you doubt the truth that you and God are ONE? Think of every moment as being perfect in your relationship with God knowing that in each moment you and God are inseparable. You are as close as you will ever get to God right now, because God is IN you. This is being "Earth as In Heaven." For the two would seem to be separate things, but through the miracles that God does continuously, they are One. Therefore, abandon all concepts of separation! And...celebrate your total One-ness with the Almighty. Say to yourself:

"I am Earth as In Heaven"

John 14:

23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him."

1 Corinthians 3:

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Is it up to us to ask God questions? Many would say, "No! Just accept and believe." Yet, I leave you today with a challenge to ask questions and receive answers. Ask: "How I am Earth as in Heaven?"

Job 13:

3 Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.

The Lord's Prayer - Part III

Thy Will Be Done:

Meditate on what God's Will is. This is your task today. If we are ONE with God and God is ONE with us, not separate as unrenewed minds have taught you, then who's Will is God's Will? Ask yourself today in earnestness, not WHAT but WHO is God's Will?

John 7:

16Jesus answered, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me.
17If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.
18He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the One who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him."

Jesus could not say to them, "I am God," for that would have been blasphemy...cause for his arrest and execution. We must be able to see his words within the context of his time and understand what was being said, in what manner and why. For if Jesus were able then to speak the truth in it's entirety, as we know Jesus today, he would have said to us NOW, "I am the teaching." Jesus is God, demonstrated. Jesus spoke about God's Will as a DOING. I believe that means each of us. For whosoever does the work of God is doing the same work that Jesus demonstrated.

Romans 1:

17 God, whom I serve with my whole heart in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you 10 in my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by God's will the way may be opened for me to come to you.

And WHO shall come to you?

Romans 12:

2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

When will you be able to say to yourself, "I am in this world, but I am not of it?" The key to knowing you are not of this world is to renew your mind. "Be transformed."

The Lord's Prayer - Part II

Our Father

Dear Friends! I wish to speak to you about a way of personalizing the Lord's Prayer. We have all been taught to say the Lord's Prayer word for word, and yet I want you to think about something that Jesus said about prayer:

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

I would like you to broaden your vision of what Jesus was meaning here. You might think he was referring to "heathens" as doing these things (for the sake of self-aggrandizement)...and this certainly is one of them. But, let's look at this statement within the context of being repetitious with the Lord's prayer. Look at what Jesus said: "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions..." You can only imagine how it must be for God to hear the same prayer, over and over again, repeated endlessly to God, day and night. Christians are taught to recite this prayer, word for word and it is droned out over and over and over again. What then, can we do to listen to what Jesus instructed on both matters? How then, can we say the most beautiful prayer ever devised or invented, and still be faithful to the intent that Christ had in his instruction in Matthew 6:7?

Let's be very personal about this. Imagine that everyone that ever came to you, had just one thing to say. They said it to you, over and over again, endlessly, day and night? Imagine a whole room full of people speaking to you, saying just one thing. How about a million people all just saying, one thing? Over and over again, endlessly. Droned, on and on....

I do not believe that Jesus' intention was to teach a prayer that must be recited, word for word with no thought given to it, no meditation of it's meaning or delivery. There was a reason and a purpose why these words were given. And it wasn't just to deliver a prayer that everyone could say forever without thought...I have been in churches where this prayer is uttered as a part of ritual, where whole congregations moan it out as if it is a duty, rather than from the heart and mind...we might as well just put it onto a tape recorder and blare it out without even digesting it. And some of it, does not make sense (at least to me). Of course, you have to look at what Jesus said in context of his time and the situation he faced daily. He was constantly threatened with the possibility of being arrested. Spies were sent to watch him and dog his every move. He had to be wiser than the wisest not just because he was the Son of God, but because a single word could have landed him in jail, if it could in any way be misconstrued. And as you know, there were times when he was accused and walked away because it was "not yet his time." This must have sorely constrained him in delivering the truth in easy to understand and straightforward ways. I believe, that his method, was to teach in parables, but parables also provide fruit for thought...they are meditational in nature. Jesus desired you to THINK about things. For in the process of thinking about them, you ingrain them in your being. Parables, allow for discussion of meaning. They create topics of discussion and meditational enlightenment. This leaves them open-ended rather than closed ended. People have been speculating about them ever since they were spoken. And so, I believe, that Jesus' intent was that all of his instruction was to be open ended. It was spoken and designed to be flexible. Jesus wanted you to THINK ABOUT THINGS! Not just recite them without thought. And within this context then, the gospel of Christ is an open ended dialogue which allows for the continuous and flexible discussion between you and God rather than the limited and constrained, fixed recitation or quotation. Just the very existence of many versions of the Bible says, there are an endless number of ways to state the truth.

The point I am making here, is that the Lord's Prayer does not have to (nor do I beleive that Christ intended it to be), recited without thought or meditation, that it be repeated endlessly to God, over and over without personalization (and remember, when Jesus taught this prayer, it was to a crowd, and thus the "OUR" Father, reflecting the plurality of those he was instructing at the time), or that it is somehow blasphemous to say it any other way (and remember, Jesus was quite often accused of beng a blasphemer). We must be willing to take the risks that tell us that any method which brings us closer to God are the right methods to take. They asked and so Jesus taught, this prayer...yet I do not believe it was delivered with the intention that it become the central doctrine of recitation for Christianity. You see, I believe in a very personal relationship with God...and I believe that God also desires that each of us have that close relationship...and we must not feel constricted in that relationship.

But since the Lord's Prayer has been taught to be recited verbatim, droned on and on...it has become a way of bringing us mindlessly and thoughtlessly close to God. God is there when we say it, but God also must feel impersonalized by the method of delivery. And it is the method of delivery that is the key element here.

The method I am referring to is a meditational method of saying it, and included in this, are the thoughts which affirm the truest nature of God and Yourself: God is One and we are One with God Inseperable." This would, of course, have been cause for death, if said in ancient times...for any hint that a man could possibly be God (as Jesus found) was cause for death.

Yet here we are, in the 21st century, still afraid to admit that the most fundamental and central truth of our relationship, does not exist...that Christians all over the world are taught to think they are SEPARATE from God. This leads to hundreds of millions of people feeling DISCONNECTED from God and urgently desiring to connect. You were given a way to connect through the Lord's Prayer, yet I bet, if you believe you are separate from God, you have been feeling disconnected in reciting it, frustrated and hoping that God would hear it, and know the intent through which it was delivered. No wonder you drone it on and on and feel helpless, as if God will listen to it some of the time and perhaps there is a chance it will not be heard, at other times.

Every prayer is heard by God at all times and each and every prayer is answered.

So by my argument, I am saying, it is more than possible to personalize the Lord's Prayer. It is entirely possible to meditate upon it and bring enlightenment to yourself in the process. By establishing a new way of saying it, with a new (re-newed) and invigorated way of delivering it, you no longer have to say it as if it is a ritual chant...you can make that prayer very personal indeed and feel connected when you do. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing it this way either. For Jesus never warned you, not to say it in words that are meaningful to you. He certainly told you, not to recite prayers over and over again in a repetitive manner.

So when you say it, give thought to each word. Say: "OUR" and then STOP! Stop an think about that one word. Let it stand in your mind as one discrete element. What does that word mean? Say it a few times to yourself in your mind and meditate upon it. Do this for each word. As you do so, broaden the context, "Our" then "Our Father" and then "Our Father Who." You might also take it apart and think about the words within small fragments "Who art in heaven..." Which might become "Who Are You In Heaven?" Which might become "Who Are You?" Do you see how this can take you to new places? What do those words really mean if they were not to be recited repetitiously? For Jesus' admonishment on the one hand does not translate properly on the other, if one is instructed not to be repetitive yet gives prayer repetitive and unchanging delivery.

So within the context of the words, we can construct a new dialogue with the infinite. And even more than this, we can personalize our relationship with God by changing the tense.

Instead of OUR Father, say:
"My Father" or "My God"
- or even say it as:
"You are my God" more as an affirmation of what Is.
"You are My God who Is in heaven" This is an affirmation of the truth.

"Your Name is Holy."

"The Name of the One God in heaven is holy"

"The Name of God is Holy"

"God is Holy" "The One is Holy"

It does not have to be impersonal, you see. It does not have to be recited without changing a single word. It can have flavor! It can have a deeper, more instrinsic meaning. It can become dynamic. It can be a discourse between you and God. It can lower the barrier of feeling separate and personalize things quickly. You should be thinking about ways to personalize The Lord's Prayer as we step through each of the parts that will follow this second commentary.

I am going to leave this for now, just so you can think about it a while and then I shall come back again and we shall think about this some more. The homework I want you to take with you is to think about how to make the Lord's Prayer a personal meditation and how you can use this prayer to truely bring God closer to you. That is your homework assignment! And so, on the morrow, I expect to hear from you about your thoughts.
