Asteroid Attack! Alien Attack! The Year 2012!

Dear Friends: As if it isn't enough that we worry ourselves to death about something every day. Just look at the nonsense we worry about in the movies. We worry ourselves about a potential asteroid or comet hitting the Earth. We worry about aliens invading our world. We worried about the Cold War. We write horror stories all the time that reflect our inmost, deepest fears. I want to speak about this a little...and maybe a lot.

Now, we have the Christian Community worrying about the year 2012. I have been on Yahoo Answers in the religious and spiritual section and this seems to be a reoccuring theme. I remember the year 2000 and how, at that time, everyone was up in arms. A lot of Christians were convinced that at the strike of the clock at 12:01 on January 1, 2000...the end of the world would come. Jesus would return. President Clinton was likened to the antichrist. People really had themselves up in arms. There was an email group at that time, bouncing emails back and forth, speculating...and I kept telling them they didn't know what they were talking about.

Matthew: 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only."

This is what Jesus said. I mean, what part of this doesn't the Christian Community understand? It's pretty clear to me that Jesus wa clear on the subject. And yet, here we are, way past dooms day, January 1, 2000 and now we have the speculators going on about the year 2012. After 2012, the speculators will pick out a NEW date and they will start all over again! I want to know one thing only: Why do you call yourselves Christians, and yet you ignore the very words of Christ that have warned you NOT to speculate? Now, if God wanted you to worry about tomorrow, why did Jesus instruct you otherwise:

Mathew: 6:25-34...And Jesus said:

25Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

I want every Christian who is concerned about the year 2012 to consider what Jesus said, here it is again, the summary of the meaning of all these words!

Jesus wasn't just speaking about the immediate future, he was speaking about all futures. What Jesus simply said was: ALL THAT YOU SHOULD WORRY ABOUT IS RIGHT NOW.

I think this demonstrates that when the end of the world happens, it will happenin God's own good time and all the doom sayers, all the sooth sayers, all the doom predictors in the world are not going to be able to second guess it.

Now, here is what I think about it personally. Each human being is creative and the thoughts that go out of a person's head are REAL, not some fake thing that evaporates. So the more you think about things the more real you make them. Do you really WANT the world to end in 2012? You aren't helping the situation if you are thinking about it! Let it go! Don't worry about it. Let tomorrow take care of itself. In the mean time, there is plenty we can do right NOW to take care of the world's problems. We definitely need to change the world, because if you look around, you will have to admit to yourselves, the world is NOT working the way it is should be working. We need to concentrate on what WE can do right here, right now, to make life better for all of us.

First, and foremost, I urge every one of you, whoever reads this, to get the point that Jesus made about this subject. Secondly, I urge each and every one of you to be more tolerant and less accepting of polarization which will cause war, hate and violence. We must all learn to live here on one planet together without regard to difference of appearance. There is to much hate, dissention and disagreement these days and not enough human LOVE being expended.

You are NOT acting in the highest principles of the gospel of Jesus when you foment hate, when you refuse to change your hearts and do love instead. I cannot speak loudly enough for the cause of PEACE in the world! We must build PEACE if we are to survive. So stop worrying about asteroids, comets, alien invaders or the year 2012 and get on board with the real things we need to work on in this world...the things that will build a future for all of mankind on this planet instead of a doomsday designed but for a select FEW. For what is the 144,000 in Revelations, except for some select FEW at the expense of 6-1/2 billion other children of God? It is a despicable concept and I for one RENOUNCE Revelations as a tyranny against the gospel of Christ! It is a tyranny that has fomented so much hate and dissention, in contravention and in contradiction to the purpose and intention of Christ. It should never have been included in the Bible! It is a blasphemy in the face of a pure and loving God who destroys nothing. And it is an abomination to the intent and purpose of the heart of Jesus.

Well, friends, I end my blog input here. I have made myself clear because I am certain about the heart of Christ and the One True God. We must renounce all forms of separation, all forms of specialness which exclude all of us from the Kingdom. God has made it clear to me, the Plan is, we shall all return to the One, without a single exception and I believe what I have heard. The time must come when we put away our swords and beat them FINALLY into plowshears. And the sooner we get busy doing this, the better.
